Patronizing meaning: The word used to treat a person to show that you care about him/her, especially when you know the act of the person is harmful.
Generally, it is used by the parent for their children. Parents care their children so much. They don’t want their children to get into any trouble.
You may have experience in your life when you are hurt or in trouble, someone from your association would come forward and try to show care about you. The person might be your parents, friends, colleagues or anyone who care about you.
