San Francisco / Bengaluru, March 27, 2026 — Deccan AI, an AI infrastructure startup specializing in high-quality post-training data and model evaluation, has raised $25 million (approximately ₹235 crore) in a Series A funding round.
The round was led by growth equity firm A91 Partners, with participation from Susquehanna International Group (SIG) and existing investor Prosus Ventures. Founded in 2023 by Rukesh Reddy, the Bay Area-headquartered company leverages a strong India-based workforce of domain experts to deliver accurate, enterprise-grade training data.
Deccan AI focuses on the critical “post-training” layer of AI development — providing human-generated expert data, reinforcement learning environments, and rigorous evaluation systems that help refine foundation models and make them production-ready for real-world enterprise use cases. The startup also supports frontier AI labs and is expanding into robotics and enterprise-specific AI deployment.
The fresh capital will be used to scale post-training infrastructure, invest in R&D for specialized datasets, build enterprise-grade platforms, and strengthen capabilities in AI agents for middle-office and industry-specific workflows.
Commenting on the raise, founder Rukesh Reddy said the company is doubling down on delivering high-accuracy AI systems that go beyond general chatbots to solve complex enterprise problems. Deccan AI aims to become a preferred partner for both large AI labs and corporations looking to deploy reliable, evaluated AI models at scale.
This funding comes at a time when demand for quality training and evaluation data is surging globally, as companies move from experimental AI to production deployments. Deccan AI differentiates itself by tapping into India’s deep talent pool of subject-matter experts while maintaining high standards of data quality and security.
The company has reportedly seen strong traction and claims rapid growth in its early operations. With this Series A, Deccan AI is well-positioned to expand its offerings in enterprise AI, robotics data, and end-to-end model optimization services.
