AHMEDABAD \/ COLOMBO<\/strong> \u2014 In a major push to capture the growing outbound travel market from Western India, Sri Lankan private carrier FitsAir<\/strong> has launched direct scheduled passenger flights between Ahmedabad<\/strong> and Colombo<\/strong>. The service, inaugurated on March 11, 2026, is part of a strategic collaboration with Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts<\/strong>, Walkers Tours<\/strong>, and the newly opened City of Dreams Sri Lanka<\/strong> integrated resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic Connectivity for Gujarat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The new route aims to tap into Gujarat\u2019s high-potential leisure market, which has emerged as a top source region for Sri Lankan tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
