Fleece: The fleece is wooly part of the sheep or goat. You may have seen the layer of the cotton kind of hair on the skin of the sheep. That cotton layer is called fleece.
Generally, the word fleece is used when the government or any reputed authority is using its power to charge additional money to consumers.
For instance, city bank can fleece the customer by charging a high amount for keeping a minimum balance in their bank account.
In the above situation, we are trying to say customer will suffer if they don’t keep a minimum balance in their bank account. Bank will fleece the skin of customer forcefully without taking their permission.
